The Molitron Pollution Control Unit reduces smoke and odor without producing waste byproducts. This pollution control unit dispenses a neutralizing solution through misting nozzles located in the exhaust air stream. Filters are not used to eliminate the odor which eliminates filter waste.
The misting system neutralizes by chemically changing the odor particle’s molecular structure, effectively modifying it. Unlike chemical masking agents or perfumes that superimpose a pleasant fragrance on an unpleasant odor, odor neutralizers absorb and convert malodors resulting in a reduction in odor and smoke particles.

Mount the 2’ x 3’ foot Molitron Odor Abatement System cabinet on a wall in a convenient location inside the building. This odor system design provides a low cost and simple noninvasive installation for new or existing businesses.
This emissions control equipment includes an exhaust fan interlock which ensures the misting nozzles run only when the exhaust fan is turned on.
The business will need to supply:
Dimensions:
Height: 32″
Width: 24″
Depth: 8″
Weight: 100lbs
10 Gallon solution container which can be easily refilled when the low odor solution alarm sounds.
Each odor system is furnished with two misting nozzle assemblies which are adequate for up to 6,000 CFM.
Low odor control solution alarm for alerting staff to refill the odor neutralizing solution. Red light illuminates and buzzer sounds, when the solution is low.
Delivers compressed air to the odor control misting systems.
Provides odor system control and setting user defined system running periods.
Solution pump for delivering the odor neutralizing solution to the odor control misting systems.
Delivers the water and concentrated odor neutralizer to the mixing container. Satisfactory odor control solution performance can be increased or decreased by adjusting the injector dilution ratio.
Stores the water and the concentrated odor neutralizer mixture for pumping to the misting nozzles.
Our emissions control equipment is designed for commercial kitchens and other diverse sources of odor such as cannabis. The ENVIRO-PAK FILTER ASSEMBLY can be located at any point indoor or outdoor, between the ventilation hood, and the point of discharge from the exhaust air into the atmosphere.
The Molitron Enviro-Pak Filter Assembly (EPFA) is 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel enclosure fitted with top, bottom and end channels for holding in place pre-filters and high efficiency filters used for removing particulate matter and grease vapors from kitchen exhaust air.
UL 8782 covers Pollution Control Units for commercial cooking. Emissions control equipment (PCU) are part of the restaurant kitchen exhaust system and are designed to control effluent and smoke from the commercial cooking process. See UL 8782 for more information.
Close quarter neighborhoods and dual use properties where businesses are tightly integrated into the complex require a higher degree of odor mitigation. Adding an optional carbon filter to the 3rd row in our pollution control unit will add an additional layer of odor protection to the exhaust airstream.
